The word "failure" carries a heavy charge in most cultures. No one volunteers for failure. It seems to come, when it inevitably does, either in spite of the best laid plans or because those plans weren't actually as well laid out as you thought. But it always comes bearing a gift. This film confronts the taboo of failure through intimate and candid confessions that celebrate people’s greatest failures to discover why we fail, why we fear it and if we’re lucky, what we can learn from it.

Ever tried. Ever failed.

No matter.

Try again. Fail again.

Fail better.

— Samuel Beckett
